If your Ames or Garant  Garden Hose Reel is leaking it probably has worn orings.  They are easy and cheap to replace. If your garden hose connections are tight and you don't have cracks from winter freeze then it's probably the o-rings. This kit includes the 4 orings to repair a leaky Ames or Garant garden hose reel.  That's 2 to repair it now, and 2 to repair it in the future. Ames and Garant carry each other’s products, as well as Home Depot, Hoselink, and other retailers rebranding these products. Between them there are more than a dozen different water attachment adapters. This means models can look similar on the outside but the orings are often different on the inside. So you need to confirm your in-tube water connector to avoid receiving a miss-sized kit. Check Your Fit It takes 1 minute to check. Many model numbers are shown below however you need to check your connection type to confirm your seal size and avoid receiving a miss-sized kit. Your orings could have been replaced previously with a wrong size so it’s important to check your adapter type as above. To check your needed oring size look at the hose connection on the cart. These orings fit hose reels that have: METAL adapter 90 DEGREE BEND for garden hose SCREW ON hose connection METAL adapter No bend with 3 inch flange SCREW ON hose connection PLASTIC adapter 45 DEGREE BEND for garden hose CLAMPED ON  hose connection PLASTIC adapter 90 DEGREE BEND for garden hose CLAMPED ON  hose connection Check pictures to see the type of adapter These orings will not fit other adapters. If your Ames/Garant wall mount metal hose reel has 4 orings (2 on each side of the water inlet in the spindle) then it is likely a model 2391200A. This model is discontinued and none of my kits match it. I am working to locate the right sizes so keep checking back.
